About the artist
I'm a Southern artist living and creating in the heart of downtown Franklin, Tennessee—a place filled with charm, inspiration, and a strong sense of community. Being part of Franklin’s thriving art and cultural scene is something I truly cherish. My journey as an artist has been shaped by the simple joys of country living, my love of gardening, and a deep, steady faith in Jesus Christ. Though I’ve taken a few art classes at the University of Tennessee (Class of ‘79), I’m mostly self-taught—learning through years of practice, exploration, and trusting the process. I find joy in painting what speaks to my soul: florals, angels, children, and animals. These subjects connect me to both my surroundings and my values. As a wife, mother of three, and grandmother to four, my family is a constant source of inspiration and love.

It’s taken time, but one of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned is this: He calls us to do our best to glorify Him in everything we do. That truth now guides my art and my life—and it’s what I hope comes through in every piece I create.
